THE BASICS

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE SUMMIT?

The summit is for anyone interested in OER.  

WHEN IS THE SUMMIT?

The summit will take place over two days: Wednesday, August 11, and Thursday, August 12. View the agenda for the full details. 

WHERE IS THE SUMMIT?

The summit will take place in a virtual format.  

HOW MUCH DOES THE SUMMIT COST?

There are NO fees to attend the summit.

HOW DO I REGISTER?

Please register by clicking the link located at the top of the page.

I REGISTERED, BUT NEED TO UPDATE MY INFORMATION?

Please use the link located within your registration confirmation email. If you need the email resent, please contact Katie Chock at katiec@mhec.org.

ARE THERE ANY FEES TO REGISTER?

There are NO registration fees to attend this summit.


TECHNOLOGY

WHAT PLATFORM WILL THE SUMMIT TAKE PLACE?

The summit will be ran out of Sched, a browser-based agenda platform. All live sessions will be held in Zoom. 

WHAT ARE THE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE?

To participate, you will need an Internet connection and a web browser. Additional instructions for accessing the conference are forthcoming.

WILL THE SESSIONS BE RECORDED?

Yes, the live sessions will be recorded and made available after the summit to the registered attendees. The Lunch and Network sessions will not be recorded. All pre-recorded lighting talks will be embedded in Sched.

WHEN WILL I GET ACCESS TO THE PLATFORM?

You will receive to Sched well in advance to the summit. The Zoom links to join the live sessions will be made available to access from Sched 10 minutes prior to the session.

DO YO U HAVE A CODE OF CONDUCT?

Yes! We ask that all attendees follow our Code of Conduct.
